Stevington Cinema was formed to provide entertainment for Stevington and surrounding villages, however we provide public screenings which are open to all. We provide screening of a wide range of films as well as screening live and recorded broadcasts by the National Theatre, Royal Opera House, Royal Ballet, RSC, independent theatres, music concerts and sporting events. We have contracts with the leading suppliers of live broadcast content and we screen live events every month.
Stevington Cinema screens films and broadcasts using HD digital projection on a 4 metre screen with a full Dolby 5.1 sound system. Screening of live performances is achieved by reception of satellite broadcast services directly to the venue.
We have a seating capacity of up to 80 which is laid out with tables for refreshments.
We provide a licensed bar selling a selection of wines, beers and soft drinks, we also have hot drinks, snacks and ice creams available at every screening.
The hall provides off road parking for up to 25 vehicles.
Free WiFi access.
Stevington Cinema is organised by Stevington Social Centre as a not-for-profit, volunteer run, charity project created to provide entertainment for the local community and raise funds to run the village hall.
